4.4 Advocacy

As a librarian, it is important to continually advocate for my library by keeping all members of the school community informed about what is happening in my library. Attached is a networking plan that I developed while working in Bryan ISD with contacts in and out of the school who are involved in the school and library's community. The plan involves ways that I will keep my library open to all and keep all contacts informed. By keeping these people, parents, and community members informed of my library, I can promote reading, library services, and library involvement.
